Gikumpirma kini ni Manila Representative Bienvenido Abante Jr., diin gitakda ni Nueva Ecija Rep. Michaela Suansing, chairman sa House Committee on Appropriations, sa Lunes, Agosto 17, ang pagsugod sa debate sa maong panukalang budget.
Ang maong pahibalo nahitabo hapit usa ka semana human gisumite ni Budget Secretary Kim Robert De Leon ang panukalang budget sa House of Representatives niadtong Martes, Agosto 11.
Gipresentar ang maong outlay sa mga opisyal sa House of Representatives ubos sa pagpanguna ni Speaker Faustino Dy III ug Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos sa Ilocos Norte.
Magsugod ang deliberasyon pinaagi sa briefing sa Development Budget Coordination Committee o DBCC kabahin sa mga tinubdan sa financing, expenditure levels ug budget proposals sa mga departamento, ahensiya ug government-owned and controlled corporations o GOCCs.
Ang DBCC gilangkuban sa Department of Finance, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Department of Budget and Management o DBM, ug Department of Economy, Planning and Development o DEPDev.
Gipasiguro ni Abante nga mahimong transparent ang proseso sa paghisgot sa budget ug kinahanglan nga mahibal-an kini sa publiko.
Base sa DBM, ang Department of Education ang adunay pinakadakong alokasyon sa panukalang 2027 budget nga mokabat sa P976 bilyon.
Gisundan kini sa Department of Public Works and Highways o DPWH nga adunay P644 bilyon, lakip ang P100 bilyon alang sa flood control; Department of Health o DOH ug PhilHealth nga adunay P353 bilyon; Department of National Defense o DND nga adunay P328.8 bilyon; transport sector nga adunay P302.2 bilyon; Department of Agriculture o DA nga adunay P261.7 bilyon; Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD nga adunay P241.1 bilyon; State Universities and Colleges nga adunay P176.5 bilyon; ug Judiciary nga adunay P86.3 bilyon.
