Nagkasabot ang House Prosecution ug ang Defense Panel sa pag-stipulate sa pipila ka “common exhibits” sa pagpadayon sa pagdungog kabahin sa giingong pag-abuso sa confidential funds batok kang Bise Presidente Sara Duterte ning Lunes, Agosto 3.
Ang stipulation of common exhibits mao ang kasabutan sa duha ka panig sa korte nga dawaton ang parehas nilang mga ebidensya nga dili na kinahanglan pang pamatud-an ang ilang pagka-tinuod.
Una nga mihangyo si House Prosecution counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan sa Senate Impeachment Court nga i-stipulate ang mga common exhibits tali kanila ug sa depensa. Mihangyo usab si Defense counsel Atty. Michael Poa og lima ka minutong suspensyon sa pagdungog aron matun-an ang hangyo sa prosekusyon.
Sa pagpadayon sa pagdungog, mipadayag og pagsugot ang defense panel ni Bise Presidente Sara Duterte sa pagdawat sa pipila ka documentary evidence sa House Prosecution, gawas sa 845 ka acknowledgment receipts nga gikan sa Disyembre 21 hangtod 31, 2022, nga ilang gisupak.
Wala usab dawata sa depensa ang ikalimang proposed stipulation sa prosekusyon nga nag-ingon nga nadawat sa Office of the Vice President (OVP) ang P125 milyon nga confidential funds niadtong Disyembre 20, 2022 ug nagasto kini sulod lamang sa 11 ka adlaw.
Ania ang uban pang proposed stipulations sa prosekusyon nga gidawat sa depensa:
- 1. The DepEd was alloted confidential funds in the fixed amount of Php37.5M quarterly;
- 2. The OVP was alloted confidential funds in the amount of Php125m in December 2022;
- 3. The OVP and the DepEd withdrew their respective confidential funds’ quarterly allocation in full from the 1st to 3rd Quarters of 2023he documents submited by the OVP and the DepEd were all signed by the authorized signatories;
- 4. (no stipulation)
- 5. That the signatories above the names Gina Acosta, Julieta Villadelrey and Rosalynne Sanchez in the OVP documents are their signatories. and
- 6. That the signatories above the names Edward Fajarda, Ma. Rhunna Catalan, Annalyn Sevilla and Gloria Jumamil-Mercado in the DepEd liquidation documents are their signatories.
Nagpasalamat si Atty. Kapunan sa defense counsel tungod sa ilang pagsugot sa pipila sa mga marked evidences sa prosekusyon.
Gisundan usab kini ni Trial Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero, nga nagpasalamat sa duha ka panig tungod sa pagpasayon ug pagpamubo sa proseso sa padungog ug sa ilang pagtabang sa korte.
Matud ni Atty. Kapunan, mikunhod og 10 ka box sa ebidensya o bugti sa 2/3 sa kinatibuk-ang 15 ka box sa mga dokumento nga kinahanglan pang hisgutan.
