Itinuring na bilang mga ‘protected witnesses’ ang mag-asawang Curlee, at Sarah Discaya pati ilang mga dating opisyal ng Department of Public Works and Highways.
Kabilang rito sina former DPWH Bulacan 1st District Engineer Henry Alcantara, Brice Hernandez at Jaypee Mendoza.
“We consider them already protected witnesses eh, yun nga. Yung tatlong taga DPWH so far na nagsasalita sa amin ay considered protected witnesses,” ani Sec. Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla ng DOJ
“Yes we consider them (Sarah at Curlee Discaya) already as protected witnesses and we will write the Senate President about it,” dagdag pa ni Justice Sec. Remulla.
Ngunit nilinaw ni Justice Sec. Remulla na ito’y hindi nangangahulugang sila’y state witness kaugnay sa pagiging sangkot ng mga ito sa flood control projects
