Gihimong prayoridad sa Senado ang Senate Bill No. 2034 o ang Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Act, sa pagbalik sa sesyon sa Nobyembre, sumala ni Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino.
Gipasalig kini ni Tolentino human giaprobahan ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa miaging Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) meeting.
“With the President’s go signal, the ROTC bill has been moved to Tier 1 from Tier 2 in the list of the LEDAC – making it a top priority. So, when the session resumes, we expect to discuss it right away,”
Matud pa ni Tolentino nga gikonsidera ang gitas-on sa programa ug curriculum nga maglakip sa subject sa climate change, disaster preparedness, ug civics.
Nagtan-aw usab sa pagpangita og mga kapilian alang sa gagmay nga mga kolehiyo nga nagtanyag sa ROTC pinaagi sa pagtipon sa mga kapanguhaan
“We can make the first year the basic course, followed by advanced training in the second year. For those who wish to specialize further, we can introduce an Executive ROTC curriculum,”
